Skai Jackson : Former Disney Star Skai Jackson Arrested for Domestic Battery at Universal Studios

Skai Jackson : the former Disney Channel star known for her roles in “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” was recently arrested for domestic battery following an altercation with her boyfriend at Universal Studios Hollywood. The incident, which occurred last week, has brought the 22-year-old actress into the spotlight for reasons far removed from her previous work as a beloved child star.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that deputies were called to Universal CityWalk after security personnel observed Jackson and her boyfriend engaged in a heated argument. According to reports, Jackson allegedly pushed her boyfriend multiple times during the altercation. Despite both Jackson and her boyfriend denying that the situation turned physical, security footage reviewed by the deputies led to her arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery.

Jackson was detained and later released after being cited. Her case is currently under review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether formal charges will be filed. The actress was transported to the West Hollywood police station for booking, and her case will be handled by the Van Nuys Superior Court House.

In a surprising twist, Jackson reportedly told authorities that she and her boyfriend are happily engaged and expecting a baby, despite the incident. However, the video evidence played a crucial role in the decision to arrest her as the primary aggressor.

Jackson, who has not publicly commented on the incident, has remained active on social media, although she has limited comments on her Instagram posts. Her representatives have yet to respond to requests for comment.

Skai Jackson

Skai Jackson rose to fame as Zuri Ross on Disney Channel’s “Jessie” from 2011 to 2015 and continued the role in the spinoff series “Bunk’d.” Since her time on Disney, she has appeared on “Dancing With the Stars” and has been a vocal advocate against bullying, using her platform to raise awareness on social issues.

As the investigation continues, Jackson’s future in the entertainment industry remains uncertain, with her next project, “The Man in the White Van,” set to hit U.S. theaters in October. The situation serves as a stark reminder of the challenges former child stars can face as they navigate adulthood and public scrutiny.
